Jim Carl is the president of the  Michigan High School Lacrosse Coaches Association, a member of the MHSAA lacrosse committee and the head coach of Brighton High School.  

We sat down to put out the flames from the rumors that Michigan was going to eliminate the faceoff from boys lacrosse in 2021.  We covered him role on the committee, the other members of the committee and that the committee DOES NOT want a game without faceoffs, but is starting the conversation on how we can make sure we have a 2021 season if COVID is still a concern.

She's the head coach of Western Michigan Women's Club Lacrosse.  A US Lacrosse CDP trainer and a lax bum just like Chris and Chris.  She sat down to talk about her journey from softball player to lacrosse player to lacrosse coach to coaches trainer.  We went over the Coaches Development Program for US Lacrosse and the great resources available to members.  She's our friend Kim Barber!

A two sport star in HS and college, Jason Alessi scored the game winning goal for Yale Lacrosse in the 2018 NCAA National Championship Game.  We sat down with him to talk about the grind of college sports, the value of being a two sport athlete, his prep career and his college career.

In college for lacrosse he was Second Team All-Ivy League, NEILA All-Academic Team and the winner of Yale University''s Molly Meyer Award - given annually to male and female senior student-athletes whose character exemplifies selfless devotion along with compassion and concern for their team and the community at Yale and beyond.

For Football at Yale Alessi was named All-Ivy League Honorable Mention, was 3rd on the team in tackles and awarded the LoProto Award -  given to player who best exemplifies Ryan's passion and competitive spirit, skill in the defensive secondary, and devotion to teammates.

For Brother Rice he was a 4 time state champion in lacrosse, a 3 time All-American, a 3 time football state champion and named to the state's Dream Team as a safety, kicker at and kick returner.
