Today we continue our study through Matthew 26, looking at the sham trial of Jesus before Caiaphas the high priest. What did Jesus really say, and what is the Old Testament foundation upon which He speaks? Today's study takes us to Psalm 110 and Daniel 7 to fully appreciate what Jesus says, and why it provokes such a response from the high priest!

Today we start to look at the betrayal of Jesus. We consider several aspects of the events that follow that were totally illegal as far as the Jewish law was concerned, and the fact that they happened in fulfilment of many dozens of specific prophesies in the scriptures.
