There were at least 500 reported cases of femicide in Kenya between January 2016 and December 2023 according to Africa Uncensored. In today's episode I address my views on the ongoing femicide cases in Kenya, dissect the Shaffie Weru Debate, the toxicity of victim blaming, express my own fears on being a woman and fears of being killed, as well as my opinions on how these cases are being reported and the need for empathy in how these cases are reported and how we need much more than PR and statements from our leaders.
