• DAR – A Women’s Only Organization, or Is It?
    Apr 20 2026

The DAR formed during a wave of patriotic interest in the late 19th century, partly in response to women being excluded from the Sons of the American Revolution. Early efforts focused on preserving Revolutionary War history, but it quickly grew into a major service organization.

    Notable projects include:

    * Maintaining historic properties and a museum at national headquarters in Washington, D.C. (featuring decorative arts and exhibitions).

    * Supporting DAR Schools and educational initiatives.

    * Marking patriot graves and contributing to war efforts (e.g., during the Spanish-American War and World Wars).

    * Current focus on America’s 250th anniversary (Semiquincentennial) in 2026, with events, patriot markers, educational programs highlighting diverse patriots, and community celebrations.

Prominent past and present members include First Ladies (e.g., Caroline Harrison, Eleanor Roosevelt, Rosalynn Carter, Barbara Bush, Laura Bush), politicians, military officers, and entertainers.

Today, the DAR describes itself as a volunteer service organization whose members reflect a range of backgrounds and local communities, with an emphasis on heritage, education, and patriotism.

My Special guests today are Laura McDonald and Carol Nichols

Laura McDonald is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She currently holds the office of Recording Secretary for her local chapter in East Texas.

She and thousands of other members of the DAR are fighting to RESTORE and preserve DAR as a women’s only genealogical society.

Carol Nichols is a venture capitalist, a retired Banker with a passion for helping women succeed. She is a native of Austin, Texas and has resided in Dallas for over 40 years.

Carol’s leadership journey began when she was elected President of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Chapter at University of Georgia in 1978.

764 has been described by the FBI as a “new form of modern-day terrorism,” one that preys on the innocence of preteens and teens, coercing them into acts of self-harm, sexual exploitation, and even suicide—all livestreamed for the amusement of an audience of digital sadists.

  • Who or What has the Democratic Party Become?
    Dec 6 2025

Their verbiage has become so filled with vitriol towards our country that it’s getting impossible to listen to anything that they spew, because it’s almost always against our way of life.

What is equally frustrating is their brainwashed followers, who at a moment’s notice, will drop everything to create a protest against anything or anyone that the powers to be want or desire, their paid social media influencers and the Main Street media platforms that have joined with them to spread their propaganda, false hoods, and utter the nonsense that they pontificate.

  • Dementia – Can it be Reversed?
    Apr 9 2025

Dementia is a condition that affects memory, thinking, and behavior.

It is not a single disease but a term for a group of symptoms caused by disorders impacting the brain. Common types include Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, and Lewy body dementia.

Symptoms can range from forgetfulness and confusion to difficulty with communication and daily tasks. Dementia is progressive, meaning it worsens over time, and primarily affects older adults, though it is not a normal part of aging and unfortunately, it’s starting to affect younger adults.

Early diagnosis and support can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.

On today’s show, Janet Rich Pittman joins me as we discuss Dementia – the causes, the treatment and what can be done to reverse the symptoms.
