It’s a cool day in 2004 when Tanya’s life is catapulted into a whole new world of wonder, joy and love beyond her expectations - it’s the day she becomes Aunty Tan. As her dreams of having her own family are being challenged at every turn, Tanya is commissioned with her most eminent role yet as Aunty to her five nieces and nephews.

There will be negotiation sleepovers, unorthodox dog funerals, too many trips to Kennards, a No-Parents-Holiday tradition and not to forget…The Westfield Disappearance of Baby Doll. And this all before we begin to dabble into Tanya’s own journey of looking for Mr. Right (Height) and shopping down the Fifth Avenue of Wannabe Mums.

Join Tanya each week to hear about the adventures she had with these tiny humans not of her making and the privilege it is to walk alongside them in life. It seeks to share the unique moments that were often not witnessed by many (if anyone!) and the life-changing impact of these relationships.

Maybe you'll laugh, maybe you'll cry….hopefully you will relate!

It is capers galore with Aunty Tan, a combination of the kids and her classic catchphrase to curious strangers…’They’re not mine’. But she would come to realize she was wrong.

This podcast is set to evolve into a platform to hear from others sharing hilarious and heartfelt stories about influential adults who weren't Mum or Dad or maybe they were that important person to a child.
