I start with Venezuela and why what’s happening there matters far more to the United States than most people realize. From energy, regional stability, and global power dynamics, I connect Venezuela’s role to the broader framework of the Monroe Doctrine and what I call the emerging “Donald Doctrine”—a modernized approach to American influence and national interest in the Western Hemisphere.

I also examine the Minneapolis protest incident involving ICE and the death of Renee Nicole Goode. I walk through what led up to it, question whether the use of force was justified, and address how quickly the situation was politicized. From there, I explore the idea of martyrdom in modern politics and how political parties influence people to place their bodies, identities, and lives on the line for ideology.
