About this listen

I'm probably the last person you'd expect to find about their podcast, but here I am, sending my voice out into the internet void. Inspired by all those I listen and grow with their minds and voices sharing for the one who's looking for a connection, or just curious enough to listen. Welcome!

  • Iran in Darkness
    Jun 19 2025

Today, Iranians inside Iran are trapped more than ever under uncertainty and fear. Spending days in darkness of information without access to internet and nights in skies brightened with the missiles and destroyed buildings burning in fire.

Iranian people have been given very little opportunity for near 50 years either by sanctioned imposed on people or limitations from inside. Realizing this is how the modern world works, like the chemotherapy of a country to remove cancer. First starts by weakening the body and cancer cells at the same time and hoping to body will live after.

This is when we hope for the best science and best doctors to do the surgery and everyone in best interest of our patient, while our patient stays strong morally to fight.

Are the surgeon of this war thinking for best interest of Iranian people and the country? Let's hope they do after all this, but we are concerned and worried that history has shown otherwise, so please prove us wrong.

For today, all we can do is keep our hopes strong and use the challenge to make one thing stronger, our bonds and becoming a united nation again.

Iranians inside Iran have never had a real feeling of freedom to access the full internet. To access most websites and platforms on internet, they've had to purchase VPNs separately that costed more than the internet itself and not always safe, often sold by someone connected to the government (otherwise how they could have bank account and payment gateways – I always asked)! Now today, those VPNs have suddenly stopped working and they are no longer able to communicate with the world, or amongst themselves using the common apps like WhatsApp or Telegram or Instagram.

Praying for people and all victims of the war. Urging those in power to end the war on innocent people on both sides.

  • Iran and Israel Making "a" Peace!
    Jun 14 2025

For many of us, war feels something that is happening elsewhere in the wold and we watch in the news or hear from far friends. But world has changed in the last decade or two and wars sometimes hit closer to more nationalities that had been safe for some decades. Why are we seeing more wars and why we can't solve them are the questions I can't answer!

Asking Google Gemini (AI) about progression of wars in the last 4 decades: The last 40 years have seen a significant initial decrease in the overall number of conflicts, particularly interstate wars, following the end of the Cold War. However, over the past decade or so, there has been a concerning increase in armed conflicts, primarily driven by intrastate and non-state violence, with a shift towards more complex, fragmented, and internationalized conflicts, leading to significant human suffering.

  • Founding Thoughts
    Jun 13 2025
Join Majid Arian in the inaugural episode of his podcast as he recounts his broadcasting evolution, from a university radio station that sparked his interest in web design to his current venture in online media. He shares the pioneering drive that brought him here. Crucially, Arian delves deep into the implications of artificial intelligence, particularly its influence on employment. He champions the idea that companies should prioritize re-skilling employees to collaborate with AI, rather than opting for layoffs, underscoring the critical need for forward-thinking leadership in this era of rapid technological advancement.
