This is it — the final confrontation in our Curse of Strahd mini-campaign.

Elric remains trapped within Lament, the cursed soul-devouring blade of Strahd von Zarovich, while the rest of the party has been brought back from death to make their final stand. Reunited, but not whole, the heroes prepare for the ultimate assault on Castle Ravenloft.

Outside, Thrabok — Aniphi’s father — leads a daring distraction with a group of freed prisoners and defiant servants, giving the adventurers their only chance to reach Strahd before all hope collapses. For the second time in this arc, we play in person, bringing the emotion, energy, and chaos of live tabletop combat to this epic finale.

The party has never been closer to death — or to Strahd’s victory.

After a catastrophic battle in the depths of Castle Ravenloft, the adventurers face the devastating aftermath of a near-total party kill. Drift, Morag, and Elric have fallen. Elric’s soul now lies trapped within Strahd’s vampiric blade, Lament, where he is reunited with Amisra, the woman whose memory drove him into this cursed land. Meanwhile, the survivors cling to life. Holmwood, bloodied and barely standing, drags the unconscious bodies of Matrim and Aniphi into a fragile refuge — a pocket dimension created by Rope Trick.

Now, with only Matrim, Holmwood, and the spectral presence of Amisra, the remaining heroes must:

Find a way to reclaim their fallen comrades

Recover Elric’s soul from the clutches of Lament

And ultimately strike back at Strahd von Zarovich and the lieutenants who destroyed them Hope is nearly gone. But vengeance burns brighter than ever.

Imprisoned in the dungeons of Castle Ravenloft, the heroes of Barovia awaken in darkness — disarmed, defeated, and divided. One among them has fallen under Strahd von Zarovich’s hypnotic charm and been taken away into the castle’s depths, leaving the rest to claw their way toward freedom.

With no weapons, no hope, and the vampire lord’s minions closing in, the party must escape their cells, reclaim their gear, and rescue their enthralled companion before the mists of Barovia consume them all.

Every chain they break echoes through Ravenloft — and Strahd is listening.
