Welcome to Through the Soundwaves with Jacob Dantone.

I’m your host, Jacob Dantone.

I’m an audio engineer with a degree in Audio Recording Technology and six years of experience in the field. I’ve worked on podcasts, audiobooks, radio and television commercials, and I produce radio shows for a living.

This show exists for two reasons:

1. I’ve been recording content for almost a decade. Some of it has been released, some of it hasn’t. So this is me going back, re-editing, and re-releasing those projects. For some, it’ll be the first time they’re ever heard. I wil also be sharing personal stories, and lessons I have learned along the way.
2. I want this to be an audio memoir of sorts. Most people write books, but I don’t have the patience—or the proper grammar—to do that. I’ve dedicated nearly a decade of my life to audio, so why stop now?

Over the next several weeks, I’ll be playing you episodes from a podcast called 4 Dudes, 1 Dungeon. It’s a D&D podcast, and the reason it’s going first is because I believe this project—and the people I made it with—was the biggest catalyst not just for my career trajectory, but for my personal life as well.

This is where the journey through the soundwaves begins.
