    St. Francis House: Homelessness Prevention & Rapid Re-Housing
    What is SSVF?

    The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program is a homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing program designed to assist Veteran families at risk of homelessness to maintain their housing and to rapidly re-house Veteran families who are experiencing homelessness.

    Services Offered*
    Case Management: A housing stability plan is developed with each client and may include: housing search, securing utilities, landlord mediation, budgeting, coordinating other services.

    Financial Assistance: Temporary financial assistance may be available to those who will become/remain homeless but for SSVF financial assistance including: security deposits, rental assistance, utility deposits/assistance, childcare, moving costs, etc.

    *Meeting basic eligibility criteria does not guarantee SSVF services. Furthermore, SSVF service may have additional criteria to determine eligibility and to prioritize the delivery of services. Approval into the SSVF Program does not guarantee any financial assistance. All services are provided on a case-by-case basis as deemed necessary and in accordance with the SSVF Program Guide.

    THE PURPOSE OF BO'S BLESSINGS

    Bo’s Blessings - LUTHAB, Inc., is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to engage the Northwest Arkansas community, including veterans and military family, in improving the quality of life and positively impacting the lives of the military community by providing empowerment and reintegration programs, community service, and veterans’ appreciation programs. Bo's Blessings provides programs, support, and resources that help veterans transition back to a civilian life with their families and their community. Bo's Blessings has a youth ambassador program, and Ms. Layne welcomes young people to join and get involved by serving their community.

    The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) is an organization for United States military veterans who served overseas during conflict. The VFW Post 2952 is located at 1894 W. Sunset Avenue in Springdale, Arkansas. Jerry Hulsey is the commander and his telephone number is 479-249-2344. They also have a VFW Auxiliary for relatives of eligible veterans.
