    Apr 6 2021

A bonus show for our Tomahawk massive. Marcello joins Smith LIVE Tomahawk FM studios in East London to talk all things 12" disco.

Our special guest brings a load of his old collection he found in his loft and we go through the pick of the bunch and crack open a bottle of whisky. What could go wrong?

A short and sharp insight into the genre of music that invented the dance floor point.

    Tracks on the show include:

    1. Music - One Way Featuring Al Hudson

    2. Shame - 12" Disco Version - Evelyn Champagne King

    3. Stomp! The Brothers Johnson

  • EPISODE 38 'Drums came before fire' Featuring Charlotte's Records
    Mar 20 2021

Our second part of the trilogy brings you the DRUMS. The things people bang with passion and vigour. Usually with a pair of sticks (or bones if you ask Stevie).

Genres of music a plenty here. Expect to hear: Indie/rock, metal, 60's instrumental and rock.

Charlotte joins the show and talks about her youtube channel 'Charlotte's Records' and picks out a great new band from the UK:

    The Reytons - Red Smoke

The dubious claim this week comes from Stevie where he claims drums were invented before fire...

And how could we forget our brand spanking new feature - Curinos' Reading Corner. Not a bad jingle too. Japanese wrestling anyone?

    AND TO FINISH..REMEMBER THAT..

'Following Tomahawk FM is a lot like following the wind. You don't know which way it's going and it occasionally pisses you off' (Smith, Tomahawk FM, 2021).

  • EPISODE 37 'Is it BASS related'? Bass guitar appreciation
    Mar 15 2021

A first of a three part series where the crew will be reviewing great:

    1. Bass Guitarists

    2. Lead Guitarists

    3. Drummers

And on this show we look at the bass. The glue that binds the band together. The steady hand to the wild and unruly body. Expect to hear; funk, jazz, heavy metal, rock and funk rock in a great episode.

In true Tomahawk style we have sound issues (at the start) but hang in with us as it gets SO much better....and remember - 'Our sound is shit and we don't care'.

    Features include:

What Stevie has mostly been doing today (his cat ruined the intro)

Dubious claims - Smith now has a new life goal and Stevie informs the world some shocking truths about Mr Lloyd Webber. Which the Dynamic confirms as fact.

HOT topics - The Dynamic investigates (and demonstrates) the goings on and weird chanting near his gaff and Smith talks about nice people only to reverse all that kindness to have a go at vegans.

Confused? Yeah us too. But my goodness - what a show. Full of bass guitar trivia and random tales of silliness.

    Is it bass related?

    Yes...Yes it is.
