We found out that his mum was the ORIGINAL trainer connoisseur who set him on his journey, how Tennis set the pace for signature shoes in the industry long before Basketball reigned supreme, and how the king's strong opinions have often rubbed some of the community up the wrong way.

Franklin Boateng, aka the King Of Trainers, is a social media expert and brand consultant with over a decade's experience in the industry. As one of the most popular Trainers content creators in the UK, he founded the 'Drop Of The Year' awards in 2014, launched footwearjobs.co.uk to help people get in to the industry and worked on the first feature length film to look at the UK Trainer community; 'Sole Seekers'.

Successfully launching her own 'Pay Your Shooter' brand in the mean time, which became a rallying cry for visual creatives everywhere in the industry.

She joined a number of other female creatives with a 'Pay Your Shooter' Air Max 95 Nike By You design that sold like hotcakes. And now as the face of Nike's SNKRS Live broadcasts she has shared in the hype with thousands and thousands of 'SNKR' heads worldwide.
