t love smith (they/them/their) is a non-binary poet currently interning at Maine Writers and Publishers Association (MWPA) and studying transgender ecologies and poetics as a UROP fellow at the University of Southern Maine. they were a Martin Dibner Memorial Fellow for 2023 and they will begin a Creative Writing MFA at Stonecoast, summer 2024. they are a member of a women and non-binary writers’ guild. their poetry has been accepted by new words press, Island Ink, the Free Press, as well as presented on local radio podcasts; Transgender Ecologies on WMPG, and Poems from Here on Maine Public Radio.Copyright WMPG
