As I've produced podcasts I have come across wonderful people with like interests and tremendous informaiton to share. In this episode I am speaking with such folks. I am speaking with Mark and Krista Lawley about having a mindset of being prepared. As Sojourners we certainly understand the importance of situational awareness and having that mindset. We've faced challenges to our comfort, safety, and overal mission focus.

Mark and Krista host a very informative podcast called, Practical Prepping. As Mark says, they aren't preparing for the next Zombie onslaught. Rather, its just good practical information where we are prepared to take care of ourselves, and others. That's biblical.

Traveling in an RV has its own set of dangers and many things to keep in mind. Add to that the dangers from severe weather, and you have a potentially life-threatening situation.

Most of us own generators that we carry with our rig. Many even have a generator that is part of their rig. Keeping it maintanined and operating properly is critical to safe and happy sojourning.

In this episode I remind us about some simple although important maintenance we should be doing for our gas powered generators.

A useful part of our RV is our awning. This cover allows us to extend the area of enjoyment as we travel with a purpose. Like everything else on our rigs, the awning also requires care and protection to extend it's life and our enjoyment. Not careing for the awning can result in damage to the awning, our rigs, and our checkbook.

In this episode I discuss some simple steps to protect the awning.
