About this listen
We’re all carrying around these invisible backpacks—stuffed with shame, guilt, old wounds, trauma, and the weight of life’s burdens. And most of the time, we don’t even realize how heavy it is… until we pause and say, Wait—what am I carrying that’s not mine to hold anymore?
The first step is awareness. Just recognizing that you’ve been hauling this emotional weight around. The second step? Asking yourself: Does this still serve me? Or is it time to let it go?
Start slowly unpacking. Maybe it’s forgiving someone, or even yourself. Maybe it’s looking at that painful moment and saying, What was the lesson here? And then, like David Ghiyam says—which I love—pause and say, “What a gift.”
Because there’s always a blessing buried in the pain if you’re willing to look deeper. And every time you release a piece of it, that backpack gets lighter… and so do you.
