  • Dr. Vi Tu Banh - A Wise Dragon Supported By Elephants

    Local optometrist, Dr Vi Tu Banh came to Canada as a child with his family as refugees from Vietnam. Known as 'The Boat People' thousands fled facing starvation, threats of violence and wilderness survival. Several generous Uxbridge residents came together to sponsor the Banh family, welcoming them to our snowy small town with charity and goodwill. Dr Banh now wants to share his story and the empowerment of how we can all learn to "pay it forward."
