• Getting Your Joy Back
    Jan 21 2026

Our world is currently a masterclass in "pandemonium and mayhem". It's easy to feel that our current state of moral decline and "heart-wrenching despair" is unprecedented.

However, the Prophet Isaiah stood in a nearly identical gap, speaking to a society drowning in civic confusion, rebellion, and a "land becoming a wasteland." He understood that the chaos outside, is often a reflection of a spiritual foundation that has been neglected or dismantled.

Reclaiming your joy in this whirlwind is not a passive luxury; it is a strategic act of spiritual warfare. Joy is not a byproduct of your circumstances, but a deliberate choice to remain stayed on the Divine.

Joy is your most targeted asset. Consider your joy as the spiritual currency the world is constantly trying to devalue. It is the most invaluable thing you possess, which is exactly why it is the primary target of orchestrated entrapments.

The enemy uses everything from emotional distress to physical trials to "steal your joy," knowing that if your joy goes, your standard of living and your principles are soon to follow.

  • Overcome Evil with Good - Psalm 10
    Jan 14 2026

Today you look at the world and see arrogant, wicked people thriving, seemingly without consequence. They boast, they scheme, and their paths prosper while the vulnerable and righteous suffer. This experience can be profoundly frustrating and confusing, leaving us with a sense of unease and a pressing question that echoes through the ages.

Where is God in times of trouble?

Psalm 10 explores the timeless struggle between good and evil, focusing on why the wicked often seem to flourish despite their arrogance. It is a passionate plea for divine intervention, assuring believers that even when God appears distant, He remains omniscient and attentive to the suffering of the oppressed.

We are encouraged to resist reacting with malice and instead maintain spiritual discipline through prayer, discernment, and trust in divine justice.

In this episode, we draw parallels to contemporary global and political conflicts, emphasizing that pride eventually leads to downfall while divine sovereignty ensures a final victory for the humble.

Conflict, arrogance, confusion, division, are timeless spiritual problems. It is true what’s said in James 3: “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

However, in the face of confusion and evil works, know that you can rely on the ultimate truth. The Lord is Sovereign and Supreme. We can have confidence in His triumph over evil.

    Remember:

The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked (Nahum 1:3)

  • Wisdom For the New Year - The Benefits of Wisdom - Proverbs 3
    Jan 7 2026

The wisdom offered in Proverbs 3 points toward a different kind of life and a different kind of richness. It replaces the pursuit of self-knowledge with trust, material wealth with spiritual peace, and fleeting feelings with enduring love.

It promises a "rich spiritual inheritance" for those who choose its path—one composed of "long life," "honor," "pleasant ways," and "peace," all held together by a love that "NEVER FAILS."

  • There Is Nothing New Under The Sun
    Dec 31 2025

The wisdom of Ecclesiastes offers a timeless lens to re-evaluate our present struggles. It suggests that our feeling of living through "unprecedented" times is a trick of perspective.

By understanding that our social chaos is a symptom of the spiritual emptiness King Solomon personally diagnosed, we can begin to look for solutions that are equally enduring.

The ancient text pushes us to consider that the answers to today's most complex problems may not lie in the future, but in the accumulated wisdom of the past.

If our most pressing problems are not new, could it be that the most effective solutions are not new either?

"What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."

  • The Christmas Story - The Greatest Gift Ever Given
    Dec 24 2025

When we think of the Christmas story, our minds often conjure peaceful, serene images: a silent night, a gentle mother and child in a humble manger, the soft glow of a guiding star. We sing carols about heavenly peace and the sleep of a newborn king.

The full Christmas story is far more complex and profound than a simple, silent night. It is a narrative that contains political espionage, a desperate escape for survival, and the tragedy of a state-sanctioned massacre. It's a story charged with tension, fear, and remarkable courage.

The Christmas season is a season of “giving”. We know that it is the day we celebrate the greatest gift ever given, and that’s Jesus Christ. The most precious gift of anyone. God gave us the very best He had.

Listen as we share the true meaning of Christmas, which lies in a divine gift that offers hope amidst a complex and sometimes harsh world.

But behind this well-known tradition lies a true story of profound eternal significance. And it is far more than just a historical event.

  • Keep "Christ" in Christmas - Don't Smother Jesus
    Dec 10 2025

The Christmas season arrives with a familiar flurry of activity. Our calendars fill with parties, our homes fill with decorations, and our minds fill with gift lists and travel plans. In the joyful chaos of celebrating, we exchange greetings, share meals, and create memories. It is a time of genuine excitement and warmth, meant to bring people together.

But in all our enthusiastic preparations and festivities, is it possible we are overlooking the very center of the holiday?

In this episode, we share a sobering story from the East Coast, which serves as a powerful reminder of this danger.

There is a cultural trend that seeks to remove Jesus from the holiday, pushing him to the sidelines.

Jesus is the reason for this season, and every other season. This is not merely a slogan for a coffee cup; it is the foundational truth.

Listen and be encouraged to "Keep Christ in Christmas".

  • A Case Study on God's Grace & Forgiveness - Philemon
    Dec 3 2025

We all know the staggering difficulty of offering genuine forgiveness, especially when we've been deeply and personally wronged. But nestled within the New Testament is a short, often-overlooked letter that serves as a profound and surprising case study in what can be called "Redeeming Forgiveness"—the story of a slave owner, a runaway slave, and the radical request that would change their lives forever.

There are 2 lessons on forgiveness we want to highlight from the often overlooked book of Philemon.

First, Forgiveness Isn’t Erasing the Past—It’s Creating a New Future

Often times we hear people say that "you need to forgive and forget", when someone does you wrong. To that we say, "Not So". Forgiving doesn't mean forgetting, it means you don't hold the offence against someone, but don't forget what they've done. True forgiveness doesn't ignore the past but courageously creates a new future.

Second, A Sincere Apology Is Proven by a Changed Life

In our world of easy apologies, this story in Philemon draws a sharp line in the sand. It contrasts true repentance with the "unhealthy established pattern of doublemindedness" that plagues so many relationships, where apologies are offered but behavior never changes. True remorse is demonstrated through transformed action. Sincere repentance is validated not by words but by a transformed life.

Listen as we review this case study on God's Grace & Forgiveness.
