The future is tech. The purpose is human. This podcast lives in the space between.

Andrea Peer and Susan Leonardson are self-proclaimed tech geeks who spend their days building digital systems and geeking out over the latest AI tools.

But somewhere along the way, they started asking bigger questions: In a world racing toward automation, what makes us human in the first place? And how do we hold onto that as everything around us evolves?

This isn't an anti-tech show. Susan and Andrea love tech (they might love it too much). But they've noticed that the more we optimize, automate, and outsource, the easier it is to forget the humans at the center of it all. Including ourselves.

We Are Human is their exploration of what it means to stay human in a tech-driven world. Expect honest conversations, nerdy tangents, guest interviews with people who study what makes us tick, and the occasional existential question that doesn't have a clean answer.

The future is tech. The thing that makes it matter is being human. This podcast is about not forgetting that.

Stay human. Stay connected.

  • AI Didn't Replace This Expert, It Multiplied Him with Preston Anderson
    May 28 2026

Preston Anderson knows things about the tax code that most CPAs will never tell you. And now, thanks to AI, that knowledge is no longer locked inside one person's brain.

In this episode, Andrea and Susan sit down with Preston, a tax strategist who built a 12-person firm around doing what most accountants refuse to do: using the tax code the way it was actually written.

Preston is blunt about the industry, clear about what is legal, and completely unbothered by competition. He is also the last person you would expect to build a custom software app in 10 days with zero coding experience. And then he did exactly that.

This conversation goes deep on what it actually looks like when original intelligence meets artificial intelligence, not as a replacement, but as a multiplier. Preston's story is a masterclass in why deep expertise is an asset in the AI era, not a liability.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • Why most CPAs leave serious money on the table, and what a real tax strategist does differently
    • How Preston built a full custom app on Replit in 10 days by dumping his frustrations into an AI tool instead of writing a single line of code
    • Why AI gives dangerously bad tax advice by default, and how an expert has to fight it to get to the right answer
    • What the pizza tracker analogy reveals about client trust, transparency, and the future of professional services
    • How Preston plans to take his own expertise and put it into the hands of accountants across the country

  • How Creatives Survive When AI Can Do Your Job with Alyssa Aviles
    May 21 2026

Every creative is asking the same question right now, "if AI can do what I do, what am I actually worth?"

Design mentor and funnel strategist Alyssa Aviles has been sitting with that question, honestly and out loud. In this conversation with Andrea and Susan, she shares what it really feels like to navigate a 16-year creative career as AI reshapes the industry, and what she's discovered about the part of human creativity that no tool will ever be able to manufacture.

Alyssa is a Canva and ClickFunnels ambassador, award-winning funnel designer, and the author of the upcoming book Create a Better Brand, a guide to building an authentic personal brand in a world where AI is replicating everything except your soul.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • Why the speed AI creates is quietly killing creativity, and what to do about it
    • How human intuition differs from AI pattern recognition, and why that gap is exactly where creatives will thrive
    • Alyssa's personal branding framework: why it starts with knowing yourself before thinking about your audience
    • The 10% of expert work that AI can't replace, and how to build your future around it
    • Why sharing your real life on social media is one of the most strategic brand moves you can make right now

  • Can AI Replace a Coach? Chris Cameron on Where the Line Really Is
    Apr 30 2026

There's a question keeping every course creator and coach up at night right now: if AI can answer almost any question instantly, what are people actually paying you for?

Chris Cameron, VP of Coaching Programs at Prime Mover and ClickFunnels and the man behind Russell Brunson's 2CCX and Prime Mover coaching programs, joins Andrea and Susan to answer it.

With 26 years alongside Russell and a front-row seat to how the industry is shifting, Chris brings a grounded, experience-first perspective to the AI conversation that cuts through the noise.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • Why AI can deliver information but cannot replicate the lived experience that creates real transformation
    • How Russell Brunson's 10-80-10 framework keeps humans in the driver's seat while letting AI do the heavy lifting
    • The hybrid facilitated learning model that Prime Mover uses to scale coaching without losing the human element
    • Why disclosing that something is AI actually increases trust and tolerance from your audience
    • How the "time-money loop" works: why people give you time before money, and how human connection drives retention and ascension
    • The three types of learning, and why only one of them actually requires a coach
