Even though the Federal Reserve has signaled a more passive policy stance, mortgage rates don’t simply march in lockstep. Instead, they follow bond market sentiment, inflation surprises, and employment surprises. We’ll ask Paul how he coaches Triangle buyers and sellers on navigating volatility, especially when refinancing becomes more appealing. We’ll also highlight an under-the-radar trend: the re-emergence of 50-year mortgages. Yes—they’re back in the spotlight.
