  • Danny Campbell: Scotland's Home of the Year, tiramisu interior trends and... being a lion?!
    Jul 16 2026

What if your wardrobe and your home were telling the same story?

In this episode of Who Are You (Wearing?), Alice Cruickshank is joined by architect, designer and television presenter Danny Campbell. As the founder of HOKO Design and co-presenter of the award-winning Scotland's Home of the Year, Danny has built a career helping people discover their own sense of style not in what they wear, but in how they live.

The conversation explores the surprising overlap between fashion and interiors, from building a personal style uniform as a busy business owner to the latest design trends making their way into our homes. Danny shares why he's unapologetically devoted to Crocs, how his own wardrobe has evolved over the years, and why dressing for television and red carpets requires a very different approach.

Along the way, he reveals the story behind his brief stint working at a zoo (and why dressing as a lion got him in trouble!), what it's like filming Scotland's Home of the Year, and why Scotland's iconic traffic cones and statues are helping to inspire a new wave of playful design.

  • Sheli McCoy (Sabre): Strength, style & becoming a Gladiator
    Jul 9 2026

What does strength really look like?

In this episode of Who Are You (Wearing?), Alice Cruickshank is joined by Sheli McCoy—better known as Sabre from the BBC's Gladiators.

A weightlifting record-holder, gym owner, educator and BAFTA winner, Sheli has built a career around strength, but as this conversation reveals, there's far more to her story than muscles and medals.

Using fashion as a starting point, Sheli reflects on the journey to becoming Sabre, how stepping into such an iconic role has changed her life, and why discovering her personal style in her 30s has been just as empowering as breaking records in the gym.

The conversation explores what it means to be a true "girls' girl", creating space for other women to succeed, and how confidence isn't about fitting into someone else's idea of who you should be. Sheli also shares why tailoring has transformed the way she shops, dresses and feels in her clothes, proving that great style isn't about following trends: it's about finding what works for you.

Warm, funny and refreshingly honest, this episode is about embracing your strengths, supporting others and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

  • Sanjeev Kohli: Still Game, Department Q, and dressing like... the carpet in The Shining?!
    Jul 2 2026

In this episode of Who Are You (Wearing?), Alice Cruickshank is joined by actor, writer, comedian and broadcaster Sanjeev Kohli. Best known for playing the iconic Naveed in Still Game, Sanjeev reflects on the moments, memories and characters that have shaped both his career and his personal style.

The conversation begins with an unexpected fashion confession: the cardigan Sanjeev wore to the recording turned out to feature the unmistakable carpet pattern from The Shining... and a fashion ghoul complimented him on it!

Sanjeev shares behind-the-scenes stories from Still Game, including how his portrayal of Naveed was inspired by his own father and what it felt like being transformed into an older version of himself. He also discusses the subtle ways costume shapes character and continues to influence his own wardrobe, from rocking tiny glasses in Dinosaur to why the wardrobe for his role in the new series of Department Q is among his favourite ever.
