In this powerful sermon Rev. Nathaniel Adjin Tettey takes us through Matthew chapter two to reveal the contrast between divine guidance and human opposition to God’s purpose. Drawing from the account of Herod’s anger and the massacre of innocent children Rev. Adjin Tettey exposes the destructive nature of insecurity and resistance to God’s will. At the same time the message highlights the faith and obedience of the wise men who followed the star with joy until it led them to Christ.
Through the journey of the wise men we are reminded that God still gives direction to those who seek Him sincerely. The star that appeared in the East symbolizes divine guidance that leads to true worship and revelation. When the wise men found the young Child Jesus they responded with exceedingly great joy humble worship and sacrificial giving presenting gold frankincense and myrrh. This sermon calls believers to follow God’s leading with discernment rejoice in His revelation and offer their lives in genuine worship despite opposition or challenges.
Be blessed as you listen and be encouraged to remain sensitive to God’s direction and faithful in your walk with Christ.
