About this listen

Welcome to Wife in Bloom — the podcast for Christian women who are ready to grow in confidence, renew their mindset, and see their marriage and intimacy flourish in the way God intended. 🌸

I’m Ashley, and not too long ago I was drowning in shame, insecurity, and negative self-talk. At over 330 pounds, paralyzed by anxiety and ADHD, and hiding from life behind a smile, I believed I was broken. But God had a different plan — and through His grace, I’ve grown into a confident, healthy, faith-filled woman, a wife in bloom.

Here, we’ll talk openly and honestly about the struggles Christian wives face — from body image to intimacy, from self-worth to communication — and how faith, mindset, and practical growth can transform everything.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. It’s about taking off the labels of “not enough” and “too broken” and learning to see yourself as God sees you: loved, capable, and called.

Each week, I’ll share real stories, biblical truths, and practical steps to help you break free from shame, grow in confidence, and create a thriving marriage rooted in Christ.

Because girl, you’re not just surviving — you’re meant to bloom. 🌸

  • 3 Simple Daily Rhythms that help you breathe again!
    Jan 30 2026

Life feels heavy lately… and not in a dramatic, everything-is-falling-apart kind of way.

More like the quiet kind of heavy.

The mental tabs that never close.
    The constant feeling behind.
    The snapping over small things.
The guilt when you finally sit down to rest.

The kind of overwhelm you can’t really explain… but you feel it in your body all day long.

This isn’t an episode about waking up earlier, doing more, or “getting your life together.”

    Because honestly?

I don’t have the capacity for that right now either.

Lately God has been teaching me something different…
Not hustle. Not pressure. Not try harder.

    Gentleness.
    Rhythm.
    Small daily care.

In this episode of Wife in Bloom, I’m sharing the simple, everyday practices that are helping me feel calmer, more grounded, and less overwhelmed, without adding more to my plate.

    No complicated systems.
    No aesthetic morning routines.
    No productivity guilt.

Just realistic daily rhythms that support your mind, your home, and your nervous system in real life.

If you’re feeling exhausted, stretched thin, or like you’re barely keeping up…
come sit with me, girl. This one’s for you. 💛
