  • Cheyenne grass fire causes evacuation

    On Wednesday night, a grass fire sparked south of Cheyenne. With wind gusts reaching between 70 and 80 miles per hour, the flames spread quickly and burned a total of 565 acres over just a few hours and led to the evacuation of nearby residents to South High School.
