  • Ep:42 Amelia Davis | Memories of Jim Marshall & The Beatles at Candlestick Park
    May 28 2026

Amelia Davis, longtime personal assistant, and friend to renowned photographer Jim Marshall, is my guest. Amelia is the driving force behind the new book (from Chronicle), THE BEATLES By Jim Marshall Live at Candlestick Park 1966. The book features more than 150 striking images caught through Jim's lens, many never before seen.

2026 marks the 60th anniversary of The Beatles' last official live concert and this book is a beautiful visual record of this specific moment in their history.

We speak, not only of Jim's remarkable life, but Amelia's journey also as a respected photographer and someone whose life was greatly impacted by their special friendship.

  • Ep:40 Oliver Murray | The Beatles Anthology & Beyond
    May 15 2026

Welcome to a special 40th episode of the podcast.

My guest is Oliver Murray, the creative force behind the wonderful 'NOW AND THEN The Last Beatles Song', 'FREE AS A BIRD A Song Reborn', and 'THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY EPISODE NINE'.

It was very clear to me, on first viewing of each of these films, that they'd each been created from a place of genuine love for both the story and the music. Equally apparent was that these works were from a filmmaker completely in control of his craft. Music and film entered Oliver's life at a young age, both inspiring a creative passion that has seen him go on to have a growing and remarkable filmography. You'll find Oliver's website link below.

This conversation was, for me, a great reminder of why I was motivated to begin this podcast in the first place and I'm happy to be sharing it with you as Episode 40. Thank you for taking the time to listen. Your rating, commenting and sharing, goes a long way toward elevating the profile of the podcast for better ensuring its longevity, so, please take a moment to do so when you can.

Thanks once more to Oliver for his making time to speak with me and deep dive into his process and passion so openly. Enjoy!
