The question is - Do we really know what we want from life and also know how to attain it. I think we would agree that being successful is a good thing but for some reason we often find it to be an elusive and difficult thing to achieve. I believe part of the problem is that we don’t really have a sense of what true success is. There is a common misperception of success, such as achieving wealth, power, fame, prestige, and also those material manifestations found in the pursuit of a bigger house, a nicer car, exclusive club memberships, a yacht, whatever. But once we attain some of these false trappings of success we find we are really chasing a moving target and then want more and more and are never truly satisfied. There must be a better way! 

You may often find it difficult to keep the balance within yourself when your external world seems so chaotic and perpetually out-of-balance. But therein lies the secret: Keeping the balance within yourself while everything around you appears to be so out of control.      

Your Values - what is most important to you - set the foundation for your ideals and your life philosophy. By knowing your Values and their relative importance to each other you will continually be able to pursue what is most important to you. They will give you balance and security as you walk life's tightropes. Should you fall they will get you back up and make you more proficient at walking life's tightropes.
