And as a divorced mom who barely gets juice box and draws money for “child support” so him could pay his restitution (yea, you heard that right!) in my certain circumstances I holdzzz it down! Er’ry thing they needed and most of what they want, they got!

Sis, Imma talk a lil bit about the world of business dynamics, where our personal value sometimes gets all tangled up with the value of the service we provide. In bin’ness, it's not solely about your personal worth cuz get this 👉🏽don’t no-body care about you…they wanna know what you got to offer them/their company and the value of what you are bringing to the table. They wanna know what’s in your 👛 purse!

So this episode was sparked by a candid {I don't know how to have any other kind :-)} conversation I had with a quasi client/colleague/sista friend urging her to not whine and be labeled as an "angry black woman" or an "entitled Karen" or “emotional" but to instead focus on, in her case, understanding the true value preposition!

I know, I know I know that it is not always easy but we have to learn how to assess our value and comprehend our worth and then articulate it to the stakeholder in a concise and pro-fes-sha-nal way. Business thrives on relationships, tones, perception, how THEY feel about what you are offering them from out of your purse.

Don’t burn a bridge and the boat and the land on each side cuz you all in your feelin’s! You are wheeling and dealing, making moves to get that notch on your belt so you can put that shmoney and that reference in your purse!

It is crazy to me that people open their mouths to tell you a lie about something you did not ask them about! Just straight up lying for no apparent reason at all!
