Why your Christian business funnel isn't converting
If you're searching "why isn't my funnel converting" or "Christian business funnel not working" — this episode is for you. You built the funnel, prayed over it, hit publish — and almost nothing happened. Then you scroll and see someone else's launch going wild, and the question stops being about the funnel and starts being about you. What if the problem isn't that your funnel is broken? What if you're measuring the wrong thing?
What Solomon's wisdom actually looked like
Solomon asked God for "an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad" (1 Kings 3:9). When two women brought him a disputed baby with no witnesses, he didn't pick the more convincing voice — he created a situation that revealed the truth in each woman's heart, and the real mother's love exposed itself instantly (1 Kings 3:16-28). His wisdom wasn't about winning cleverly. It was about seeing clearly enough to protect what mattered.
Revealing a problem vs. manufacturing one
There's a real line between naming a problem your customer genuinely needs help with, and deliberately agitating their pain until your offer feels like the only escape. Solomon's wisdom revealed truth. It didn't manufacture desperation. That's a different foundation than a funnel that looks slower because it refuses to pressure people.
The tight-budget reality
A free email tool that only allowed one welcome sequence. No time to master a complicated system. So the offer got simplified to one thing, done well. That wasn't failure — it filtered out the people who only wanted free resources and were never going to invest, so both sides ended up where they actually belonged.
The warning
Solomon's story doesn't end with permanent wisdom. Later in his reign (1 Kings 11), he made decisions that pulled his heart away from God. Wisdom itself didn't make him immune to compromise. You can know better and still choose the system that looks faster.
Your next faithful step
Look at your funnel — not to redesign it yet, just to ask better questions. Am I attracting the right people, not the most people? Does this offer solve a problem they're ready to pay to solve? Am I giving clarity instead of pressure? Can I actually maintain what I've built? Am I chasing another free strategy because I'm afraid to trust the one I already chose?
