  • #SustyTalk: How businesses can make their supply chains more climate-resilient
    Oct 28 2025
In the latest episode of the edie Extra podcast, edie’s content editor Sarah George is in conversation with Zurich Resilience Solutions’ UK lead for climate resilience and sustainability, Andrew Forsyth. Andrew shares his learnings from helping hundreds of businesses to map and manage growing climate-related risks to their operations and global supply chains. Almost half (44.5%) of businesses reported moderate or significant impacts on their supply chains from climate-related events between 2018 and 2023, according to the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). But more than half of businesses (51%) do not have a dedicated budget to manage this risk. And most firms still have extremely poor visibility of their supply chains beyond Tier One.
