peep magazine catch up with two representatives from the newly formed cultural political movement - ‘We Are United’. They are set to stage a series of gigs and festivals that celebrate multiculturalism. promote unity and pro-actively challenge the rise of racism and fascism in the North East of England and the UK.

This interview was made possible by the preview art show ‘OXYGEN’ within a building in Newcastle upon Tyne called Hadrian House, where 70 Artists showcased their work within a soon to be demolished dying building. peep podcast always take an opportunity for unscripted content and stopped for a little chat about their pop-up exhibition to raise awareness, with issues of resisting the Far -Right, disengagement, abandonment and Newcastle upon Tyne’s ‘Growth Plan’ and ‘Combined Authority’ campaigns - spearheaded by the new mayor of the North East Kim Mgcuiness

peep podcast interview Northumbria University Fine Art Graduate Zoe Fradgley Irving at The Baltic Centre For Contemporary Art. peep discuss Tartans Scottish history, Vivian Westwood and the punk culture in Newcastle upon Tyne. Zoe, rips, stitches and explores different mediums and experiments with photography and fashion, using rebellious punk culture fabrics that were influenced by her mother ( an original Punk) and their Scottish heritage.

The installation showcases popular movies such as ‘American Psycho’, ‘Batman’ and ‘Fight Club’ and comments on themes of masculinity, violence and the idealisation of misogynistic men within today popular culture.
