For part one of this two-part series, I suggest the best budget streaming gear for beginners that DOESN'T SUCK. When someone asks me what gear to get when they start streaming, I always suggest getting a microphone and a desk-mounted microphone arm.  I would also suggest getting a camera and coupling it with lights to improve the video quality.  Some viewers feel more connected with the streamer when they can see their face and the streamer's reactions.  When you first start streaming, you don't want to lose any potential viewers.
