"Krigsdøtre" er historien om to danske kvinders liv og skæbne. Karen Jeppe der har viet sit liv til at hjælpe det forfulgte armenske folk, mens Johanne er til udlandet i jagten på en karriere. Den danske forfatter Elisabeth Lyneborg (f. 1939) har slået sine folder vidt omkring.
