Exploring The Backroads: Public History with Jessica Hanson

I grew up appreciating, listening, & learning from history, encouraged mostly by my mom's love & pushing of literature! When you travel the interstates, you might miss so many nuances of an area. Backroads may seem slower, but IMHO, they are often more relaxing, scenic, and usually always have hidden/unheard stories. Let's relax, listen, and enjoy the exploration of the off-the-beaten-path "backroads." Along the routes, we'll often hear from everyday people in communities who trust me to honor their unique oral histories, as I begin my own Public History Ph.D. learning journey!
