Penny Parker’s father is a car accident victim and is taken to a hospital by another driver. He is owner and publisher of The Riverview Star newspaper and is pursuing information concerning a car-theft gang. Fortunately, the time element is overcome for his recovery and this leads to thwarting the plans of the unscrupulous gang.
