Blind Visionaries and AI: Seeing Differently explores how people living with vision loss are reshaping their lives through artificial intelligence and other technologies. Edited by Dagmar Jamieson, who lost her sight to cone-rod dystrophy, and Mark Rawleigh, diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, the book gathers the voices of blind and partially sighted artists, scholars, and researchers who have embraced AI tools in creative and practical ways.

Steve Hobson went blind about eight years ago. In adapting to his new life he searched for a retreat, somewhere quiet and peaceful that would allow him to relax. He attended a Sesshin at the Stonewater Zen Sangha. Stonewater Zen Sangha is a Zen Buddhist group based in Liverpool. Steve's book explains his life as a blind person, and what happens during a Zen Buddhist retreat. It is a warm, well-written, account that will inspire the listener.

Das Aktionsbündnis Sehen im Alter wurde durch den Deutschen Blinden- und Sehbehindertenverband (DBSV) und die Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Senioren-Organisationen (BAGSO) 2014 in Bonn gegründet. Die Initiative richtet sich an Fachkreise und konzentriert sich auf die politische und gesellschaftliche Arbeit für Menschen, die von Sehverlust im Alter bedroht oder betroffen sind.
