Als ich durch das Portal sprang, erwartete ich, die Sünden auf der anderen Seite zu treffen. Ich erwartete, von meinen Leuten, den Dämonen, empfangen zu werden. Was ich vorfand, waren Flammen, Feuer und Asche. Die Apokalypse hatte nicht auf mich gewartet. Sie hatte bereits begonnen. Die Grenzen der Hölle stürzten in sich zusammen und machten meine Aufgabe, die Sünden zu finden, unendlich viel schwieriger. Als ich mich gemeinsam mit den Reitern auf die Suche nach ihnen machte, stellten wir fest, dass nicht alles so war, wie es schien.

I died for Hostess cupcakes. I know. Tragic, right? Even worse, after I came back, I still didn't get any cupcakes. What I did get, however, is a six-foot-something reaper with eyes like blue fire to guide me into the world of the supernatural. Which, as it turned out, wasn't quite like the fairy tales little girls are told growing up. Not only is magic real, more importantly, so are monsters. And apparently, I'm one of them.
