Context and Character is a documentary podcast. We examine how predators of all types persist in plain sight—not because information is absent, but because it is fragmented, minimized, misclassified, or misunderstood. Predators exploit that gap. Through narrative reporting, analysis, and primary records, the show explores how institutions fail victims—how reports are reframed, concerns minimized, and accountability delayed or denied. We ask not just what happened, but how it was allowed to happen—and why it happened again.

What exactly is the Western literary canon? Why does it contain certain works and not others?
