"Box 13" was a radio show that aired from 1948 to 1949. It starred Alan Ladd as Dan Holiday, a former newspaper reporter turned mystery novelist who, after placing an ad in the newspaper asking for adventure, receives letters from people asking for his help in solving various mysteries.
