In a dystopian future, cities surrounded by glass bubbles promise safety from diseases. But Elliot's Glimpse only makes him more confused, showing him in an intimate moment with Sebastian Glass, the "one gay kid" in his year at school. Seb, meanwhile, hates Glimpses and blames the technology for his dad's absence. Unlike the protesters picket-lining GlimpseTech headquarters, Seb has other things to worry about, like his mom's depression and the man showing up at his house demanding money. Then he bumps into Elliot.

Dan and William are trying to get out of the country. But that proves a lot more difficult than they imagined. The undead aren't the only ones standing in their way. Mille is aboard the ferry headed for Sweden. Unfortunately, so is the virus. Reluctantly, she's forced to try and stop the infection from spreading before the ferry reaches its destination. Ever marching on, the undead have reached several countries across Europe, leaving death and chaos in their wake. The fate of the world seems still closer to the brink....

The group of survivors head for the Faroe Islands in the hopes of reaching safety. But their journey won't be easy, as the dead are following them every step of the way, and not everyone is destined to make it. The infection now covers most of mainland Europe, edging still closer to becoming a worldwide pandemic ...

William’s day at the hospital starts out like any other - until he encounters two zombies locked in a utility room. Having seen plenty of horror movies, he instantly recognizes the danger and heads straight for his uncle’s safe house outside of town. Mille is on a summer field trip with her classmates when their bus is attacked by two flesh-eating zombies. Panic erupts, and Mille is one of the only ones to make it out alive. Meanwhile, Dan realizes his attempts to stop the virus from spreading have been futile. The infected reach his home and force him to leave his family behind.

Selina wakes up to a terrible hangover and her annoying baby sister’s birthday party. Soon, however, those problems are overshadowed as a living corpse staggers into the garden and begins attacking the children.

It all begins with a single dead person coming back to life. One flesh-eating corpse roaming a lonely house. Until three unknowing teenagers stop by. Trapped in the basement, they must fight not only for their lives, but the fate of the world. If the infection gets out, disaster will spiral.
