In seinem Exil auf der elenden Welt Sedh verzehrt sich der in Ungnade gefallene Necronlord Oltyx vor Verbitterung. Einst Thronerbe einer Dynastie, befehligt er jetzt nur noch eine schwindende Garnison Necronkrieger in einem nie endenden Konflikt mit Ork-Invasoren. Oltyx hat jedoch nur eines im Sinn: Rache zu nehmen an jenen, die ihn verraten haben, und sein Geburtsrecht einzufordern. Doch die Orks sind nur die Vorboten einer wahrhaft unaufhaltsamen Macht. Wenn Oltyx nicht handelt, um seine Dynastie zu retten, wird die Rache sein Untergang sein.
