Luke just wanted to get away. What better place than a personal, secluded cabin in the woods to clear his mind? Besides, the quarantines were still in place, and the world wasn’t getting any better. Social media was abuzz with tales of an impending disaster, wars brewing overseas, and more. Then it happened. One of those apocalypse predictions turns out to be true: a massive solar flare shatters the power grid worldwide. Pressing on, Luke makes it to his cabin and discovers a woman already there....

Campbell has little memory of who he was before the end of the world. He subsists in a post-apocalyptic North America devoid of resources and governance. It is ruled by oligarchs who mask themselves as Caretakers for the survivors who populate their primitive settlements.

Wyatt and the Millers made the trip to his West Virginia homestead, but without supplies, they are unprepared to face the difficult winter. Jack is forced to go far from his home in search of food. He stumbles on a cache of food large enough to feed his family for months but encounters another group who claims the resource for their own, setting in motion a conflict that will spiral of control.
