West Bengal's economy is in one of its worst phase right now. Since 2011, it's per capita GDP has remained lower than that of all-India average. And its manufacturing and service sector are also crumbling down. But guess what concides with this development? The rise of Mamata Banerjee. Since 2011, Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress has increased its vote share in every election, except one. So what explains such contrary developments? We'll discuss that in this video.
