The podcast “ The Divide – is a 4 part Musical Journey thru the 2015 - 2016 presidential campaign. We created over 19 songs that poke fun at the candidates as well as reflect on our society, the news media and the process. The songs are stitched together by 4 news anchors who provide commentary for each stage of the campaign, as well as a narrator to help you remember what was going on in the country at the time. Andy Borowitz was here last week with friends Susie Essman, Hendrik Hertzberg, Calvin Trillin and surprise guest Lewis Black, for his Countdown to Election 2012. Before the panel took the stage, Borowitz performed a monologue on stage that had the audience, and his panel guests, in stitches.

Senator Joseph Lieberman (D-Conn.) was the Democratic vice presidential candidate in 2000. He and his wife have written a memoir of the 2000 campaign and how their Jewish identity became a focus of public scrutiny. Their story raises essential questions about the relationship between personal beliefs and public service and is a remarkable chapter of the history of Jewish life in America. Senator and Mrs. Lieberman were interviewed by Rabbi David Woznica of the Stephen S. Wise Temple in Los Angeles.
