In 2168, a mysterious five-sided pyramid is discovered on the ocean floor of Jupiter's icy moon, Europa. Commander Mac O'Bryant and her team of astronauts are among the first to enter the pyramid's central chamber. They find the body of a missing World War II pilot, whose hands clutch a journal detailing what happened to him after he and his crew were abducted by aliens and taken to a place with no recognizable stars.

A principis del segle XXI, Berlín es troba en mig d’una revolució apocalíptica contra el poder vigent, entre, per una banda, un grup d’alemanys vinculats a moviments antisistema que volen reactivar l’antiga RAF dels anys 70 disposats a atemptar contra una multinacional alemanya i, per l’altra, un grup de gallecs que volen aprofitar l’interès mediàtic i reivindicar la seva posició davant d’una societat que els margina i els manté en la clandestinitat.
