Quando ormai Alicia pensa che la storia tra lei e Rudi, il ragazzo messicano conosciuto l'estate precedente, sia acqua passata, ecco che riceve una lettera in cui lui le scrive che è pronto a adempiere alla promessa che le aveva fatto prima di salutarla: un biglietto aereo a suo nome è stato acquistato e Rudi l'aspetta in Messico da lì a poco!
