Denne bog handler om mine oplevelser under og efter 2. verdenskrig på Lolland, men mest om mit møde med Vuk og hans folk som kom fra De 12 Ringes Planet. Jeg fik lov til at være sammen med dem og skulle skrive alt ned jeg oplevede. Og det gjorde jeg. Jeg har prøvet at have deres dragter på og fløjet med dem i deres trekantede fly og så hvordan de var indrettet - jeg har spist sammen med dem samt oplevet mange spændende ting som beskrevet, og mit indtryk af dem er, at de er meget hjælpsomme og omsorgsfulde og at de vil os det godt.

1803. The Napoleonic Wars. A Royal Navy warship is ordered to pursue an enemy frigate to the icy waters far south in the Indian Ocean. There, it must capture the enemy ship and retrieve a mysterious sea chest, contents unknown, failure not permitted. For the determined young captain and his eager crew, this already dangerous mission turns into a battle with a mysterious vessel that appears not in the sea, but unbelievably, impossibly, in the sky above. An alien, Tashan Zho, on a rescue mission to the distant planet Earth is transported into the dying body of bootlegger Ryan Costello. Upon his death, Costello’s body is reanimated by the alien and endowed with supernatural powers. Unfortunately, the body is so damaged from years of alcohol abuse that the alien’s memory and his vital files are corrupted. All that remains of his mission plan is one phrase: “Find the one called Mike Kelly.”
