Fate, however, had other plans in store. Robert’s fish hook was caught in a trap laid inside the lake. The creature who laid the trap came to check if his trap caught any fish in it. As he pulls up the trap, he unknowingly yanks Robert and Alison in, tragically drowning them and leaving Aries alone. The creature harbored no ill intent.
