Drawing on disparate philosophies and science behind electronic beat-making, lyricism, dance, memory, myth, and cosmology in the African and African Disaporic traditions, this book seeks to demonstrate relationships between rhythm, space, and ways of being as an articulation of futures and alternate realities made present.

Booker T. Washington (1856-1915) was one of the most prominent leaders in advancing African American civil rights. Washington concludes the book with five principles that will aid African Americans in their fight to have equal rights and opportunities.

Born from a series of conceptual art exhibitions, the perspectives gathered here are nowhere near monochromatic.
