"Kalaimamani" Dr G Gnanasambandan, is an Indian professor, Tamil Professor, Writer, Tamil Orator, Chairs in Pattimandram, Tamil scholar, and an actor who appears in Tamil films. Born 19 October 1955, He frequently chairs Tamil debate shows (Pattimandrams). Dr G Gnanasambandam is originally from Sholavandan of Madurai district. He was a Professor of Tamil-language at Thiagarajar College, Madurai. He is known for his association with actor Kamal Haasan.

Es folgten Soloprogramme, eine Spielserie im Wiener Simpl, Auftritte im legendären Düsseldorfer Kom(m)ödchen und diverse Programme, in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Künstlern der Wiener Kabarettszene, allen voran Wolfgang Teuschl und Arthur Lauber.
