In einem alten Buch lesen sie, dass Feuersalamander im Feuer geboren und ihre Haut angeblich feuerfest sei. Als Donita das erfährt, macht sie sich gleich auf die Jagd nach diesen Tieren. Sie will sich aus ihren Häuten einen feuerfesten Bodysuit nähen, um in ihm bei einer Modenschau durch einen Flammenvorhang aufzutreten. Doch die angebliche Feuerfestigkeit stellt sich als Aberglaube heraus. Die Tiere hatten sich nur im morschen feuchten Holz versteckt.

Das Wildteam widmet sich einer fast unbekannten Caniden-Art, den Rothunden, deren Stärke in der Teamarbeit des Rudels liegt. Als Chriss und Martin allein einem Tiger gegenüberstehen, setzt Stella ihre neueste Erfindung ein, den Dublikator. Martin hat im indischen Dschungel sein Wild Pad verloren. Bei der Suche danach stoßen er und Chris erst auf eine Brillenschlange und dann auf eine Königskobra.
