Im Privatleben von Phoenix King läuft es gar nicht rund: Ein Gossip-Blog enthüllt die Affären des Virginia-Kings-Stürmers und drückt ihm damit endgültig den Bad-Boy-Stempel auf. Als seine Geburtstagsparty eskaliert, hat sein Vater die Nase voll. Phoenix muss sein Image geraderücken, sonst drohen ihm Konsequenzen. Kurzerhand erfindet er eine Freundin, um seinen Vater zu besänftigen. Dumm nur, dass der unangekündigt in Charlottesville auftaucht, um die Auserwählte seines Sohnes kennenzulernen.
